I've always been a tinkerer. I've never really been satisfied with saying, "That's just the way it is." I'm want to do it better.
I suppose at the end of the day, I want to be able to say that I exhausted everything I had at my disposal to make my projects the best they can be. I never want to go to sleep knowing that I could have done something better. It burns on the inside of me to make things right.
I'm always learning and thinking about new ways to do things, and I've even revisited old projects with new ideas. I just can't leave it alone. I don't like putting my name on something that wasn't the best I could make it. As my business evolves, I keep evolving with it. Not everything new is good, but everything can be useful. All of these new ideas and ways of doing things feed into my thought process giving me a very different insight on what I'm looking at right then. |
I love helping people and businesses. I really take great pleasure in seeing the lights come on for someone as I'm showing them how to use a piece of technology. It's exciting to watch their minds race and make connections about how this is going to make their life or job so much easier.
Some of my favorite moments are when a person who has never really used technology, let alone some of the really advanced things I've taught, grab ahold of it and start to make changes in their day to day life. It's awesome when they catch up with me and show me something new they just figured out. While I love the educational part of what I do, I also love the productivity. I've helped so many people get so much done so much faster. Learning is great, but saving money and doing more is pretty great too. |
